The First Bridge Foundation team was able to conduct the livestock treatment program under the Elnino project successfully. It started with briefings for the vaccination and deworming exercise followed by the actual animal treatment initiative.

MITIGATING THE EFFECT OF El Nino IN THE WORST AFFECTED WARDS – MIGORI COUNTY
On 15th November, 2023. CECM Lucas Mosenda chaired a Special CASSCOM meeting with First Bridge Foundation (FBF) to deliberate on mitigating the effect of El Nino in the worst affected wards. The interventions included livestock feeds, vaccination, sorghum production, and canal-making in the affected areas among others.
