Shem Odada acquired a Bachelor of Horticulture degree from Moi University 15 years ago. His domains of competency include; seed development, field trials and marketing. He has undergone extensive training in team leadership, management, monitoring and evaluation and crop advisory services. Shem is an expert in identifying various crop varieties and their suitability in the various ecological zones in the country.
He is credited with prescribing suitable maize, millet and sim sim varieties that have done well in the lake basin region.
