Eva Joan Auma Aura – Project Coordinator and Community Mobilizer

Eva Aura is the Project Coordinator and Community Mobilizer; with a Master of Arts degree in Gender and Development, Bachelors of Arts in International Relations and almost 10 years’ working experience Community Development. She is conversant with gender data disaggregation and representation, versed in Gender-Focused Project implementation strategies (affirmative action, majority rule, prioritized-target model) and Project coordination with vast working experience as a Community Empowerment Program Coordinator.

Achievements include:

  1. Multi-Stakeholder coordination (information sharing and dissemination through varied mediums) for the smooth running of Projects.– Creating clear link between core projects components targeting different beneficiaries.
  2. Advocating and achieving Community ownership of projects for sustainability, evidenced by Community Initiated Projects through Self Help Groups activities, Small and Medium Enterprises set up and thriving, skilled youth gainfully employed to date.
  3. Conversant in the implementation of the Participatory Integrated Community Development (PICD) model of community mobilization and sensitization, which assures and ensures target community members have a ‘buy-in’ to Projects right from the inception stage.
